Turbines and power plants
Used and surplus generation equipment, sold to vetted end buyers, and delivered by our team if you want it.
A new heavy-duty turbine is years away
Order a new heavy-duty gas turbine today and delivery is quoted years out. Industry forecasts show orders running well ahead of what the factories can build.
A unit that already exists, whether surplus, decommissioned or never installed, is often the fastest route to power on site. Rocore sells that equipment to end buyers, and we prefer to deliver it ourselves.

Sourced through contacts, sold to end buyers
Found through the team's contacts
The equipment comes from manufacturing facilities, retired power plants and projects that no longer need it. We find it through contacts the team built over more than a hundred years of combined work in heavy haul. Depending on the deal, Rocore sells as the owner or acts as the intermediary.
End buyers only
The buyer is most often a data center that needs power on site. We also sell to utilities, independent power producers and overseas buyers. We sell to the end buyer, or to a representative who holds a mandate to buy on the buyer's behalf.
We do not work with equipment brokers.
Vetting first, then the file
Vetting
Know-your-customer checks and proof of funds come before anything else. The list is private, and it goes only to buyers who have cleared both.
The technical package
Once a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed, the unit's file opens: maintenance records, inspection reports and its history with the manufacturer.

A letter of intent holds the unit
It sets out what you want, from one package to a whole plant, and holds it while you look closer.
The technical package opens under NDA
Records, inspection reports and the unit's history with the manufacturer.
You inspect it where it stands
You or your engineers see the unit on site. Where it helps, and case by case, we arrange a call with the manufacturer.
We can remove it, move it and set it
If you want us to.
We would rather deliver it than hand it off
Removal is in scope. We can take the equipment out of the seller's site, haul it, rig it and set it on your pad.
We prefer to deliver what we sell, and the team that would deliver it has run more than two hundred heavy hauls. A unit that changes hands at the seller's gate leaves the buyer to find a hauler, a rigger and a crane on a schedule nobody planned. A unit we deliver arrives on the plan it was bought against.
Buying questions
Why isn't your inventory on the site?
Units come and go, so a published list would be out of date. Vetted buyers get the current one.
What paperwork comes with a unit?
Whatever history exists for that unit, which can include maintenance records, inspection reports and documents from the manufacturer. You can see the unit before you decide.
Can a letter of intent cover a whole plant?
Yes. Complete power plants are one of our product lines, and a letter of intent can hold a whole plant as readily as a single package.
How long until a unit is on my pad?
That depends on the unit and how much refurbishment it needs, so we answer it unit by unit.
