Our work: the record of the team that runs Rocore

Rocore was formed in 2025. The team has been moving heavy loads for much longer.

Three modes, one schedule

Of everything this team has done, it ranks the multimodal moves first: trucks, trains and ocean vessels kept on one schedule.

It has worked the docks beside stevedores and longshoremen, and handled the customs paperwork with licensed customs brokers. A port moves cargo only when the berth, the crane and the labor are ready at the same hour, and the team plans for that hour.

550,000 lb, and more than 200 heavy hauls

The heaviest single piece the team has moved was a 550,000 lb transformer. It is one of more than 200 heavy hauls the team has completed.

A piece that heavy decides everything around it: which trailer, which route, which bridges, which crane and what the ground under the crane must carry. On the transformer moves Rocore runs now, shock recorders stay on the load for the whole move, so the buyer can see how it was handled.

Africa, Asia, Puerto Rico and the United States

The team's careers run through all four, each with its own ports, customs rules, road limits and permit offices.

Along the way it has moved transformers, helicopters, perishable goods and OEM parts, and warehoused and supplied goods as well as carrying them. Every quote draws on more than 100 years of combined experience.

The call came after Maria

The ports were wrecked. Nothing big could get in or out.

In September 2017, Hurricane Maria tore across Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. It left the ports damaged and dark. Without power, cranes could not lift cargo, and nothing on the ground could be counted on. The islands needed cargo, and the usual way in was gone.

Then the team's phone rang.

The job needed something that could unload itself, with no help from the ground. The team chartered an Antonov out of Belarus, one of the largest cargo aircraft in the world, and kept it flying to the islands, round trip after round trip, nonstop for 14 days.
